Originally from Portland, Oregon, I’m a junior at UNC Chapel Hill, double majoring in Computer Science and Peace, War, and Defense with a minor in History. Set to graduate in Spring 2026, I’m passionate about leveraging technology to address challenges in government, defense, and foreign policy.

With experience in backend technologies and web development, I’ve contributed to scalable backend systems, designed RESTful APIs, and optimized databases as part of UNC’s App Team. My technical expertise includes Java, Python, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, complemented by academic projects in full-stack development and secure authentication systems.

Beyond development, I’m dedicated to advancing diversity in tech. At UNC, I work to increase visibility and opportunity through my position as a DEI ambassador for the Department of Computer Science. Additionally, as an executive team member for Pearl Hacks, UNC’s annual hackathon for women and gender non-conforming individuals, I help organize an event that brings together over 500 participants from diverse backgrounds, fostering innovation and inclusion in tech!

In Summer 2024, gained hands-on experience as a Data Integration Intern at Reser’s Fine Foods, streamlining feature migration and improving deployment efficiency. This summer, I’m excited to join Microsoft in Redmond, WA, as a Software Engineering Intern.

In my free time, I enjoy running, playing the guitar, and spending time outdoors through hiking and camping.
